What’s the hardest part about being an author?
For me, the hardest part is putting my "baby" out there for people to read. These characters become real for me, and knowing people are reading about their lives is so nerve-wracking.
What inspired you to write this book?
I love being in the head of characters this age - where they're just starting out and making the mistakes that everyone makes as they come into adulthood. I met Clay and Kat when I was writing Never Wanted More (a novella in my first series), and just fell in love with Clay's personality. Every time he shows up in a book he makes me both want to smack him and laugh at his antics.
How many hours per day do you spend writing?
It changes on a daily basis. When I was married, I wrote for 6-7 hours a day. Now that I'm divorced and working full-time, I write on lunch breaks and weekends mostly. In some ways, that's easier because there's less time to procrastinate.
Name your top five favourite books?
Oh that's so hard!
1. The entire Hashtag series by Cambria Hebert
2. Devoured by Emily Snow
3. Fallen too Far by Abbi Glines
4. Retrieval by Aly Martinez
5. Rule by Jay Crownover
6. The Blindfold series by Nikki Sloane (sorry, I couldn't just put 5)
What are you working on now?
Right now I'm going back and forth between Scarlett's book (the second Nashville U book), and Pretending She's Mine, the next Nashville Nights book. I'm also working on a standalone Romantic Suspense called My Other Life.
Allergic to fun
He’s all dirty jokes and curse words, while she’s quiet and shy. She blends into the background, while he is the center of everyone’s attention.
Clay Mitchell never expected to fall in love. Especially not with a girl he’s known all his life and one who’s always been off-limits.
Opposites might attract, but in this case of explosive chemistry, someone's heart is bound to be shattered.
As enemies become friends and friends morph into more; Clay has definitely met his match.

She is also a wife, mother, writer and self-professed bookwhore - not necessarily in that order! As the mother of three growing boys, her Kindle has become her temporary escape from the insanity of boys, dogs and her husband. Stacey can usually be found curled up with her iPad when she's supposed to be writing or creating endless Spotify playlists!
